Messaging Information System

For personnel servicing automated control systems, it is very important to respond in a timely manner to changes in the state of the system and the occurrence of emergency situations. To achieve this, staff must promptly receive notifications in an accessible and understandable form. It will be most convenient for staff to receive such notifications on the devices which almost everybody they have - smartphones and common software - popular instant messengers.

The Messaging Information System software package provides for receiving various diagnostic and process information from a control system and transmitting it to the client messenger.

The amount and type of information received can be flexibly adjusted to the needs of each specialist. Standard system diagnostics, special diagnostic reports, alarms and process parameters summaries - everything is available online both by changing the status of a particular signal or by a special request.

Secure protocols are used for information exchange. A control system can be protected from the communication server by the firewall. Information exchange between the server and the system is carried out via the TCP protocol with a configurable port, which, unlike DCOM, allows you to make the traffic filtering rule as selective as possible. The messenger traffic is natively secured.

A single communication server can serve multiple systems and allows you to use multiple channels to group information per every specialist needs.

Total Security

Total security option: isolate the control systems excluding Ethernet connection at all.  Serial port connection is in charge to supply communication.

PLC Direct

PLC Direct  option: direct communication with PLC over serial MODBUS or the similar ptotocol. Another way is using such protocols like OPC UA.

Why Telegram?

The Telegram service is free of charge. Other messengers like WhatsApp and Viber are paid. The customer should pay for those services separately.

There are almost no limits in Telegram for a number of channels and subscribers. 

No Messenger Service

If you like to avoid public services like messengers, you can employ HTTP posting and then process messages per your needs. 

Details

Configuring the expression and the message. The message will distrubute when the expression raises to true. Any subscribed parameter can be included into the expression or message. Requered distribution groups can be selected. The group has options to post the message to a messenger channel, to an HTTP server, or to send by email.

Messages received in the Telegram channel. The small text file can be posted as a short report. 

Service functions: read any parameter or write any parameter (write can be restricted).
